Adrian was the person who came from Hunt Plumbing to service my leaking toilet. He came within 3 hrs or so of being called and didn’t leave until problem resolved and cleaned area.
Explained why problem occurred and resolution decided on. Would certainly use Hunt Plumbing again snd ask for Adrian (though I hope I don’t need to!)

Joe and his crew are great to work with. They are knowledgeable and have tackled any plumbing needs I've thrown at them. They are very responsive after hours too. Good thing! Highly recommend.

I recently hired Hunt Plumbing and Drain to remove my old water softener and replace with a new unit. The two installers were professional and respectful of my home and did a great job. A backup of my basement floor drain did occur during the brine flushing that night and Hunt sent out a technician on a Saturday morning to ensure that backup didn't happen again. I would recommend Hunt Plumbing & Drain for any related plumbing service.

Sean came over to help is with a massive pipe issue after our heat went out and our pipes froze. He was so patient and very thorough and did not stop even after one problem led us to discover more. We thank Sean for his impressive knowledge and Hunt's great customer service.

We had an amazing experience with Joe Hunt and his team at Hunt Plumbing! The customer service and communication is top notch. The winterizing of my lake house was a huge success. I would recommend Hunt Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs!

They say they are emergency plumbers but they were not able to help on New Year’s Eve. I expect emergency plumbers to be available on Saturday and Sunday but they weren’t even available on a Tuesday thats not a holiday. Also note they sold me toilets when I asked for a clog to be removed because the toilets were “not quality” and causing clogs. The clog came back the next day and they were going to charge me for their tech to come back out in two days while I didn’t have a shitter. I called a different company who was out in a couple of hours.

I’m incredibly disappointed with the service I received from Hunt Plumbing. I hired them to winterize our cabin after it had been flooded over the summer. The scope of the work was clear: remove the toilet, winterize the pipes, and the water heater. The cabin is currently demoed from 4 feet down, meaning there are no sinks—just a toilet and a shower drain.
Three months later, I received a call from the city letting me know there was still water in the lines, and I was urged to get it drained ASAP. I was shocked because I thought the property had been properly winterized. When I contacted Hunt about the issue, they pushed back, blaming the city instead of taking accountability.
I ended up hiring another company to investigate, and they found water frozen in the toilet bowl, in the top of the toilet, and in the shower drain. This would be impossible if Hunt had done the job correctly.
Despite multiple attempts to contact Hunt via email and phone, I’ve received no response. Their customer service has been nonexistent, and I feel completely ignored. To make matters worse, I had to pay another company to complete the work I had already paid Hunt to do.
I cannot recommend Hunt Plumbing. If you’re considering hiring them, please think twice—I wish I had. Their lack of professionalism and accountability has been incredibly frustrating, and I sincerely regret hiring them.

My toilet didn't flush turds! So Tyler came over 1 hour after I called Hunt Plumbing.He assesd the problem and determined it needed to be replaced. His estimate was $55 lower than my other estimate so he went ahead and installed a great new toilet that I'm very happy with.The whole process took less than 2hrs.Tyler is knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. I will be calling Hunt for my plumbing needs in the future.

I have used Hunt Plumbing twice in the past, plus the most recent job of repairing/replacing kitchen sink and all leaking pipes/valves. They call you back immediately, are friendly on the phone, are up-front about their pricing, and can schedule your job within a day or two, sometimes even the same day. They also work to find the best deal on parts, explain what they need to do and why, and offer a couple warranty options for repeat customers that can save you money down the road. Great company. Why wouldn't you call them????

After calling 36 plumbers on a Saturday Hunts plumbing was the only place that responded back immediately and came and fixed our problem first thing Sunday morning. Will came a few minutes early which is pretty rare compared to other companies, I definitely recommend Hunts plumbing

I would not recommend to anyone. I had a plugged sewer line they told it would be there in 4 hours and charged me $150 to reserve the time. I called them back 10 minutes later and cancelled because another company said they would be there in 20 minutes. They still charged me the $150 and refused to refund the money. They said they didn't consider the sewer backing up in my basement an emergency. It sure is good business practice steal money from people having an emergency issue. I guess they must really be professional that they get $150 for 5 minutes of their time on the phone.

I had to call Hunt Plumbing and Drain to my house for a leaking toilet pipe. Scheduling was easy and they were able to come out the next day. The tech was friendly and explained the entire process and provided an upfront quote with no surprises. I would definitely recommend Hunt for your plumbing needs in the Mankato, MN area.

Jason at Hunt Plumbing was very helpful in diagnosis and fixing our kitchen drain issue. He was prepared with all the equipment and knowledge and took care of the issue on the spot...no waiting. He was very friendly and professional.

Between having to wait over a weekend to have my yard marked for digging, and torrential rains, we had been a full week without water to our home. It was such a relief to have these guys show up ready to get the job done!
The job was much more extensive than expected and took almost 12 hours to complete. As frustrating as this project likely was for these guys, I never once sensed it from any of them (even when they were still working at 10pm!). They would stop and chat as they were going in and out of the house and engaged with my kids and pets to make everyone comfortable.
After all of that, they left my house spotless and yard ready for seeding. Each of them were polite and respectful the entire time. Their Momma's should be proud!!

Tyler was great. He did a thorough check around and found that the problem was not something Hunt Plumbing and Drain worked on. I appreciated his honesty. He could have spent more time and charged me for the work call. As it was, he told me what he thought the problem might be, apologized for not being able to help me and told me that I should call a septic company. He didn't charge me for his time. Most of the time, you hear only the bad about people or companies. Today, I wanted to share the good. Thanks, Tyler!!

Our water heater broke down last night! Hunt responded quickly, sent someone within 1 hour, and offered to do the work same day. Tyler was very helpful, professional, and did not rush us to make any decisions. We will definitely be using them in the future! Thanks!

They were awesome to me about a year ago when I needed a whole bunch of plumbing done. My parents even got a major job done through them because we were all so impressed with them. So, now that I needed a drain jetted out, I figured I'd go through them again. The guy showed up almost 2.5 hours later than when they said he'd be there. Then he said it would be $500 some dollars for something Jetter Clean will do for $120. I told him to just leave. I guess I'm done dealing with Hunt Plumbing after that. Total rip off and waste of time.

I called at 2:45 pm when I realized we did not have any hot water. Our hot water heater was very, very old and I knew it needed to be replaced. Hunt Plumbing showed up 2 1/2 hours later and installed a new one. They understood the urgency knowing being without hot water is a pain and made a point to get it taken care of! Work was done well and clean! Give them a call for any service they provide!

The gentleman could not fix my drainage. I paid 495 for two hours and he could not repair and if I wanted him to try for one more hour it would be an extra charge. I mentioned where the main pipe was and he said that the problem was not there... later my father and my brother, they helped me repair it, I only paid 35 to rent the machine and they repaired it in less than an hour, nothing professional, the company does not recommend it…

These guys are amatuers. I honestly don't think they know what they're doing. They charge like they're professionals but they are far from that. I'm surprised they are licensed. They had to bother my neighbor twice two different days because they don't know how wells or water under pressure works. They also wanted to replace things that weren't even broken but instead they didnt know how it functioned. They are also horrible at communicating. I wonder how many people they have ripped off due to their incompetence and inexperience. Save your money and time and go with actual pros or amatuers that don't charge like pros. Don't believe the good reviews they're just from family and friends probably.

I called yesterday because my hot water heater went out. They were out to look at it within an hour or so. They gave me a couple of quotes and explained the pros and cons to each. They delivered the new system first thing in the morning. Brook was friendly and professional on the phone. Mitchell was very informative, organized, and kind. I will definitely call them again!😊👍👍👍

I was hoping for a similar service as the previous reviews on google and the referral from a local business.
I scheduled my appointment for 2-3 weeks with appropriate planning. During the scheduling process, the lady was pleasant and explained that the service person would address my primary concerns, address others as needed, and fix the issues. On the day of service, a rep called, questioning if I could reschedule for the following day (when I was unavailable). I declined and was informed that they would be a little late (appointment time 1 pm), I said sure, but I needed the work completed that day. They reassured me someone would be out, no issues, perfect. The person showed up at around 4 pm, but still no worries.
The person that arrived was pleasant and looked at the areas of concern.
We had a difficult time locating the main shut-off, mainly because whoever had blown snow on the day of service decided it would best to put it on the yard, covering access (no fault of Hunt Plumbing).
The quote was 200 dollars more than the other plumbers, but I had already agreed and planned this out to be completed on this day. Once the main concern was addressed, they mentioned, "uh, the boss said maybe we can do the other two issues another time." "It is getting late." I was like; it would not have taken very long. "The boss said no."
So I was frustrated with the situation, mainly because they were 3 hours late. So I ended the conversation and paid the guy. What else could I have done? They were not going to do what they said.

Would give more than 5 stars if I could! Super friendly, honest, knowledgeable and hard working! We had water line issues from our well - got us hooked up with a solution to get us water asap and then helped us to find a more long term solution being our well water was super nasty!! Gave us options and were not just “selling” to us, very honest and upfront - would definitely recommend and will use again!

They were very easy to work with. My hot water heater rusted out and flooded my basement. They arrived on time, did all of the work efficiently, and were happy to explain the new tankless water heater I decided to have installed. They did it all in one day, during a snow storm. Very happy with their service!

I had a cracked copper pipe that had to be repaired immediately or the gas company was going to lock out my service until the repairs were made. When I phoned Hunt, the woman in the office was extremely helpful and found someone that could be dispatched almost immediately. They arrived within 30 minutes. The call did require a second technician to bring some additional pipe, but otherwise, the work was done directly. My only concern was that I got an estimate quite a bit higher than I expected. Also, I was given only a total cost figure, no itemization of parts and labor. I feel like I may have paid a bit of a premium. But, they were very helpful, they showed up right away, and I was back with heat and hot water a couple of hours.
